American Indian Stories

When the eye-catching line of Dark Van enters the reservation, it is approaching at dusk. The purpose of these cars is to provide traffic to about 30 members of the Cleveland Youth Group. These children are very close to the wonders of nature in the hills of "Badland". This trip became the tradition of my church, I traveled three different places.

There is a big difference in the story of Native American, but the story has some common themes. A very common theme in the American Indian story is the relationship between the land and the people. This is not surprising as most Native American traditions praise this land. But that is beyond this. The story of many Native Americans shows that humans have come from land and clearly return to their land. Therefore, tribal and personal identity are usually associated with land. There is often a strong natural element in the story of how people were born and how people grew.

The earliest characteristic of American literature is the oral story of the Native American Indian. They use stories, songs, Carols, riddles, myths and legends to inherit the traditions and experiences of their tribes. They also use paintings and sculptures to explain several events. Repetitive themes are respect for nature, worshiping many gods, and respect for all animals. Colonial American poetry is very popular and is one of the most common sources of literature. Some poets use poetry to express emotions and opinions about the world. Even slaves named Philis Whitley wrote poetry, one of the most famous poets in her era, and in 1773 published "Various themes, religious, moral poetry".

Another earlier American writer, Washington Irving, was influenced by the native American supernatural power story. In famous stories such as "Legend of Sleeping Hollow" and "Lip Van Winkle", we combine the stories of American Indians with the story of the Netherlands and Germany to create a unique story about the supernatural world of nature It is. Later American writers such as Mark Twain, Emily Dickinson, Henry David Thoreau, Herman Melville, etc were influenced by Native American literature.
