American Imperialism

Since the American Revolutionary War, American imperialism was part of American history. Imperialism is a big country, and powerful countries are trying to expand and maintain the control and influence of weak countries. For many years the United States had a tendency to take over the land of others. When Columbus came to the United States about 500 years ago, America first tasted the essence of imperialism. He fought with the inhabitants, did not respect their former way of life, occupied their land, and began to slave many of these native Americans.

The theme I learned through group activities was 'the dawn of American imperialism'. The dawn of American imperialism is the era of expansion, the era of war and racism. Meanwhile, the United States strengthened its power by dominating other parts of the world (Merriam-Webster). Americans control the war with the Philippines because Filipinos believe that Filipinos are not autonomous and do not receive education. Even if that is the case, the US is also about to consolidate Hawaii

What is the American imperialist movement? The beginning of American imperialism began with the Spanish-American war, which led to the American imperialist movement.
