A series of movies including American history, military, social and cultural history

Through the history of HIST 2025 film Latin America. Please use this movie to analyze the main problem in Latin American history for 4 hours. Topics include conquest, slavery, revolution and so on. These movies are novels, but most are related to actual events. Reading the course contains the main sources of information on "traditional" events (such as letters and spy reports). Learn the history expressed in the movie, the view of hypotheses and ideology, and how to convey these ideas through stories and visual techniques. More broadly speaking, think about how history is presented and represented by various sources. Provide students the opportunity to learn more about the complexity of Latin America

History and movies in Latin America: memories, stories and nations. This course will introduce the interpretation of Latin American history movies. Discuss how filmmakers (and why) use movies to talk about concrete stories about the Latin American past. We critically study various films dealing with historical issues and explore their views on gender, gender, imperialism, slavery, church, revolution and oppression to shape the regional history. To explore these topics, we will examine the academic, autobiographical and popular text related movies. They all offer different ways to express the past. HIST 1279. History of American film industry. Please investigate and analyze the history of art, business, culture, politics of the American movie industry from about 4 hours to about 1900. We emphasize the financial and artistic models of the classic "studio system" developed at the leading Hollywood studios. The focus of reading and lectures is that the system has changed over time due to economic factors such as labor relations and the change of "galaxies". Learn the main genres and styles of the movie, its evolution, their relationships, American history and political trend - the Great Depression, World War II, Cold War, and the influence of the 1960s Cultural Revolution.
