American Culture and Lifestyle During The Great Depression

The Great Depression is one of the most important historical events of the last century and affected the lives of all Americans in some way. There are many factors that explain why the Great Depression has occurred, but there is no clear reason for the cause of the Great Depression. This is a mixture of events in the U.S. and abroad, which can lead to this incident. The main reason why anyone can reach an agreement is the crash of Wall Street in 1929.

The Great Depression has many psychological, cultural and political influences. These influences have played an important role in reforming the US economy to cope with the future. In the era of dreadful depression, whether in the short or long term, everyone in the US can see the collapse of the United States. For the main reasons of depression, you can see that many people are unemployed, the prosperity rate rises sharply, companies fail, and the overall situation of the US is facing pure chaos and pain .

In the early 1930s, the era known as "twenties of roaring" died, and one of the most difficult times Americans knew was emerged; the Great Depression. During the Great Depression, President Roosevelt used several revolutionary strategies to reform the American economy and the lives of American citizens. He later executed the New Deal plan to relieve the troubles from the Great Depression of the Americans. Due to social and political differences, this agreement did not help much during the economic recession, but it made a precedent for the relationship between the US government and the people that still existed in the 21st century. Therefore, the response to the new agreement on the Great Depression is both valid and ineffective.

The middle class and the lower class have undergone major changes, but the lifestyle of the upper class has not changed so much. (Simons 41) As job opportunities decrease, the role of the father as head of household becomes more difficult. Expectation is a family whose father works and supports them. The reality of the lower class is a salary that most people do not bring home. Some fathers feel uneasy because they can not support their families and feel worthless. Many people steal food and money just to survive. (Simons 41)
