Between 1800 and 1850, the global map is changing, and the North American continent does not change either. After only 25 years of age, as a young country, the United States faced many problems including slavery, immigration, immigration and substance abuse. The United States is being tested by an external superpower of the world, and it has been destroyed by internal seams due to the slavery scourge and social malfunction caused by the diffusion of drugs and alcohol.

US medicines use the US medicine problem. In order to understand this problem, you first need to understand what drug is. It is "any ingestible substance that has a serious effect on the body and mind." (Schmalleger, 2011) Medicine is used for medical and recreational purposes. Unfortunately, both drugs influence American culture. The history of drug use has been part of American culture since the 1800s. Prior to the 1800's there were medications for medical purposes, but between the years 1850 and 1914, the United States suffered from the epidemic considered to be the first drug use.

The expansion of the American population played an important role in the decisions the Americans made to the West. According to the second US census of 1800, the population of the United States was 5.3 million. By the time of the seventh census, the population quadrupled to 23.2 million people. Between 1820 and 1850, it is estimated that 4 million Americans moved to the west. Especially in the first half of the 19th century, Americans were mainly farmers. It was necessary to cultivate crops and livestock which could not be used in the overcrowded farming east. There are financial crises (1818 and 1839) that eradicate people and send them to the west to seek a new start.
