American roles - At this point, the view on Fredrick Jackson Turner's American identity was based on the concept of experiments and experiences. Unlike Crevecour, Turner considers the American role to be a different idea, not just a British product that is shipped to the United States (Faragher 63). He said: "With the bondage of the border, the immigrants were Americanized, released, and without Britain, they were integrated into mixed races regardless of nationality and personality" (Faragher 64).

Turner's goal is to explain the American past and the formation of Americans. Now that the border has been closed, people can no longer expect confidence to help society adjust and maintain democratic institutions anymore. After crossing the border, the industrial economy is forced to concentrate on "social problems" and only a single country that is no longer expanding needs to face these problems. Therefore, the terms of the historical interpretation that Turner recognizes must change.

For Turner, the deeper meaning of the boundary lies in the influence of this social reproduction on American character. "Frontier" he insists, "It is the route of the fastest Americanization." Presence and benefits of many cultural features - "Combining roughness, strength, sharpness and greed, real creative change, prompt Learn, type of anxiety, energy of tension, dominant individualism "- It is thought that it is due to the influence of the frontier

According to Mr. Turner, this boundary affects American characteristics and is the most important element for distinguishing America from Europe. The border deprives the settlers of his European costumes and styles, "take off clothes of civilization." Since the border was originally too strong for men, this man eventually changed the wilderness. According to Turner, "result" is not ancient Europe. This is a "new American product". Compared with the old Europeans, the new Americans are more democratic, less authoritarian, lower class consciousness. This role of America from the border has since become a trademark of the people. For the most part, Turner emphasized hope - the first border of the old northwest. This is actually where Turner grew.
