America Needs Broader Use of Clemency to Free Nonviolent Offenders

The harsh and harsh judgment law that our US Congress and our Legislature passed in the late 1980s documented the damage caused by the lives of many individuals and many loved ones. It is known as "war against drugs". Several of our past and present political influential leaders have chosen to minimize their use of amnesty. When Ronald Reagan was elected president during the initial term, he served as a non-political influencer in charge of the Attorney General and enforced all the president's recommendations on the right of amnesty of magistrates.

The following discussion focuses on the federal forgiveness process and its benefits. The first part focuses on the president's second power to look back on the history of the forgiveness process and give sympathy to criminals. The second part asks why forgiveness is stupid or contempty over the past few decades and the third part explains whether forgiveness will be reborn in the near future. In Part 4, the problem will not be in power itself, but it will give you an indication that you are in the process of submitting a lawsuit to review by the president, perhaps in the process of choosing those who make those decisions.

I will continue to consider tolerant applications, but only Congress can achieve permanent changes necessary for federal judgment. That is why I am encouraged by both parties' efforts in Congress to reform federal judgment laws, particularly overly strict minimum penalties for nonviolent drug crimes. This is meaningless as nonviolent drug offenders are obligated to imprisonment for 20 years or possibly a life sentence. Such excessive punishment does not coincide with crime. It is not for taxpayers, it is not safe for us.

This scandal is a mere local tale in Colorado state, which symbolizes the wider trend in the US criminal justice system. For example, comparing our punishment and attention to nonviolent drug criminals (and resources), we are targeting corporate criminals who have become violent but have increased victims. According to Human Rights Watch, the number of Americans in prison has quadrupled between 1980 and 2002 and the proportion of violent crimes is "relatively stable or decreasing".
