America Must Join the International Community

In the past century, Americans believed the United States was a symbol of strength, freedom and prosperity. But recently, this upper class symbol has been directly attacked by people who strongly oppose American predictions. This is the first time that the position of the United States was questioned. The answer to this is scattered in many places and it is divided into two different categories, Americans as citizens of the attacked country and America as the country that is around the world.

A few weeks ago, I joined the Global Economic Forum Global Shaper, which is held from North America and other regions, and participated in the annual Shape North America conference (# SHAPENA 17). On the last day of the meeting, we realized that many people, including members of the Global Shaper community, do not know how to consistently answer this question. If you are interested, I would like to offer some help. Spoiler attention: No, we are not a bright future. Global Shapers is an international network of young people and we are working on improving the world starting from our own community

If you want to participate in a wonderful international student organization, you can join the International Student Association and the Advisory Committee. It is a student management organization that promotes the development of international student community by linking with other clubs and organizations on campus. They have movie nights, parties and annual Thanksgiving dinners. Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) is a small private research research university in Chicago. In the fall of 2015, there were a total of 2,923 students to obtain a bachelor's degree. Although this is a fairly small group of students, 26% of undergraduates are classified as international students and 65% are classified as international students.
