America is a violent country

Some people want to know whether America is a particularly violent society. A few years ago, with the same question I was able to see comparative data on mortality from attacks in various countries from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The OECD currently has nearly all members' data from 1960 to 2014 or 2015. This is how it looks

Simply put, the United States is at least an extraordinarily violent society compared to other wealthy capitalistic democracy. Although the deaths from attacks in the United States far less than at any point in the past 50 years, this situation has been going on for a long time.
