America as the New Rome

As an American New Roman world culture, we learned about the theory of the spirit of the times. This theory thinks that when a culture transitions from a mainstream world culture to another, they take over their knowledge and glory to their successors. Zeitgeist is actually a German term meaning "a ghost of time", which means that a ghost or spirit of culture passes by time. Currently, the United States is the mainstream culture of the world, and more and more people are aware of the fact that Roman souls are rising in our daily lives.

America is New Rome. The influence of the world far exceeds the ownership of its territory, a huge, collapsing superpower. On that day, Rome was considered to be the best achievement of the gods; the United States was also considered an apple of God's eye - a city on the mountain that blessed the country. Recently I have observed that Christians do not pledge their allegiance to Christ but are devoting more dedicated to their loyalty to America. This problem is not pride of the country - on the contrary the problem is at a deeper level. There are many things that can form our identity and mark us as a real identity. I observe that some people think that they can basically claim that they are using US ID tags.

Like wheat, when two things happen in the same way, they tend to fall the same way. In my opinion, the decline of the United States resembles the decline of Rome, as the decline of the United States resembles the decline of Rome economically, socially and politically. Of course, this is not a coincidence. The founder's father, their worshiper, and the students are hoping that America will become a new Rome illuminating the Potomac River. But I think that they may not have thought about the problem they are trying to solve.
