Brothers oppose brothers and neighbors oppose their neighbors. The civil war opened a precedent for a new war. League collaborator Editor Ambrose Bierce wrote a series of short stories based on his personal experience. Whether his work reflects war of justice is a justice war following the theory of war. Beers' work helps to reflect that the civil war is unfair, war is not carried out by legitimate authorities, war is not carried out in the right way, and war is not the last resort.
In 2006, DVD Ambrose Bierce: The story of the Civil War was released. The DVD also includes an expanded version of the story with more background and details than trilogy. The Doobie Brothers album Stampede contains a track titled "I Cheat the Hangman" which was written by Patrick Simmons and was released on November 12, 1975. This is a pessimistic gang folk song inspired by the story of "Owl Creek Bridge". "This is about ghosts that he did not realize that he died after the civil war died," Simmons said.
Ambrose Beers was born in 1842 (May 368th May). At the age of 19 Ambrose Bierce joined the ninth Indiana volunteer team and became the United States (Appelbaum iii). He joined the most bloody battle in several civil wars (Appelbaum iii). 34,000 people were killed in Chikamoga by Bias (Appelbaum iii). In the battle, he endangered his life to save his falling comrades (Appelbaum iii). I was seriously injured in Kennesaw Hill in the northern part of Georgia (Appelbaum iii). But when Bills recovered he continued writing much about the Civil War. The battle he participated and what I saw in those fights gave inspiration to his story (Hall 87)
Ambrose Beers took advantage of his experience in the civil war, and war was not glorious - he used it to understand and communicate to others through his writing that it was a terrible thing. Bils wrote a more supernatural story, but what is better known for him is his short story of civil warfare (Hall 87). Out of 93 short stories, 53 is supernatural (Galette). Bierce was able to write a convincing story (Gullette) within 1000 words. Many of his works are less than 3000 words (Galette). Some of his short stories have a civil war and a supernatural side. "Chikamoga" is one example. Sharan K. Hall stated the story of Ambrose Bierce as "showing the charm of death in a more strange way, expressing worse spirit, amazing expressions, and fears that lie in meaningless universe" (87) . James K. Folsom wrote about Ambrose Bierce's writing as follows.
