Alton High School Guidance

Welcome! The New Year is an adjusted year, meeting new buildings, rookies, and new expectations. The first few months are designed to understand your new environment and collaborate with the staff of Alton High School. I am here to help with adjustment.

Please participate in the registration week. The final schedule will be distributed at this time. Students can get a Chromebook, take a picture of an almanac, get schedule and student ID.

Please participate in the welcome event. Direction information will be posted on the mentoring website. This direction is the time to get used to the location of your course, find your locker, and get the overall layout of the building.

Create a flexible schedule that takes learning time, extracurricular activities and other interests into account. Use the scheduler, calendar or electronic notebook to help you keep it organized

Clubs, workplaces, sports and volunteers are valuable activities that will help you become a full-fledged individual.

Keep track of the issues up to date. The end of the first quarter is in October. Make sure that all missing work has been handed over and that tests and tests are in place

Winter brings about a cold and sickness. Please wash your hands as much as possible and try to be absent from school as much as possible.

The new entrant completes the registration procedure with Mrs. Smith. The teacher starts course recommendation until the end of the year.

You can apply for a work permit by contacting the Secretary of AHS Headquarters. Parents of students aged 14 to 15 must fill out the application form and submit the form to the student's doctor for entry and signature. I can not get a work permit before hiring

Regardless of gender and women, any high school student can apply through the high school guidance room. The instructor will process the application submitted to the school. Students enter grades 10, 11 and 12. Due to licensing requirements nationwide, beauty students are registered as 12th graders. Commercial Food: In this project, students prepare for food preparation and service. Students learn various soups, main dishes, salad preparation, and nutrition and meal guides. In this course, the order of inventory, inventory, caterers, slaughter is also emphasized. Students receive education at a professional restaurant. Restaurant management is also integrated into the curriculum

Much support: Early college high schools were often small, with an average of around 300 students. Students receive counseling, supervision, counseling and guidance from full-time high school teachers. University campus freedom: They have more support systems than university students, but the early college high school students - with some rules and exceptions - operate a university campus.
