Laughter may be the most attractive of all emotional experiences. More importantly, it is a comprehensive cooperation between the mind and the body. Laughter is a remarkable feature of human being, but little about the mechanism behind it.

Scientists know that laughter is a very complex social signaling system that can help people build connections and even negotiate. Interestingly, most social laughter is not caused by obvious joke. Laughter is more than just telling joy. It may be caused by paralysis or other social discomfort

Laughter may have evolved to promote a connection between a large number of people. In primates, the combing process releases chemicals that help build a social bond; humans live in larger groups than the allowed combing process. Laugh, oh well. Laughter is not normally under voluntary control, but laughter has many health benefits.
