The final version of the 12 point ALICE RAP policy framework is designed to notify the redesign of governance methods to mitigate personal and social damage caused by addictive drugs and behavior. The framework of this policy comes from the achievements of 6 books edited by ALICE RAP, ALICE RAP and Oxford University Press.

After review by ALICE RAP Steering Group, the draft was discussed and revised in detail. The final version was more widely understood by some of the comments of AR scientists publicly consulted by all members of the ALICE RAP project.

This AR policy document focuses on families affected by addiction and is divided into three parts. The first part is a summary of the alcohol, drug or gambling problems experienced by close relatives of adult families, the difficulty of coping, and their needs.
