Film Producer: Alfred Hitchcock (1899-1980) has adopted the two Dumorie stories, Jamaica Inn (1939) and Re becca (1940). For the latter, Hitchcock was hired by Hollywood Producer David Osselznik to make his first American movie. From 1955 to 1965, Hitchcock hosted the TV series Alfred Hitchcock gift. Hanging his comical transmission, humor and a symbolic image, the series made Hitchcock a celebrity.
