The Alaska Public Health Research Institute (ASPHL) is an important component of state and national public health infrastructure, its mission and objectives are quite different from private sector laboratories.
ASPHL's mission is to support state and national public health disease prevention programs and to provide analytical and technical laboratory information to represent the first line of defense against the rapid expansion of infectious diseases .
As of February 27, 2017, ASVL will begin requesting the respiratory pathogen test (RPP) test. The PCR assay of influenza and respiratory syncytial virus remains free for monitoring purposes. Since this is the best tool for monitoring respiratory viruses other than influenza, I would like to continue supporting the RVP test.

Development of the Public Health Sciences Foundation coordinates the national public health system. How the local system performs these procedures varies from region to region. Change the value of time and place to diversify the implementation of national public health programs
In order to develop and apply new scientific knowledge, the provincial and provincial Ministry of Health began to establish a laboratory in the 1890s. The first was established in Massachusetts as a cooperative between the State Health Department of New York State and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as part of the New York City Health Department. Following this, there was State Health Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and City Public Health Institute in Providence. (Winslow, 1923)
In 1886, the Smallpox vaccine was produced on behalf of the Ontario Department of Health Department, shipped to other provinces and then the first public health institute in North America was established in 1890. Thereafter, a public bacteria laboratory was established in Nova Scotia, Quebec. Manitoba and these laboratories examined the supply of milk and water, tested suspicious samples of diphtheria and typhoid, chlorinated the public water and investigated the incidence of rabies. In the medium term - the progress of establishing public health infrastructure in Canada is slow. McGill University was awarded the Health President in 1894 and the University of Toronto established the Ministry of Health in 1896. The first tuberculosis sanatorium in Canada, Muskoka Cottage Sanatorium, opened in 1887. In 1904, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Department of Indian Affairs appointed medical officers to organize and supervise the health of more than 100,000 indigenous peoples nationwide.
