Alandra's Lilacs book begins with one of the main character, author Tressa Browers. She is pregnant with her longtime boyfriend Lyndle Paul Benjamin Jr. or "Sug" more often. They got married soon and got pregnant with the first child named Lin Alan, a son. Unfortunately, the baby can not survive and die soon after birth.
