In Google Quick Search's "Alabama" there are several articles on Wikipedia's page, state official website, University of Alabama website, and recent special elections in the Senate. As the candidate refused to make a concession, this election brought a democratic victory barely heard by Doug Jones. Perhaps more importantly, it shows the general ugliness of southern politics and the fact that almost all of Alabama is controversial. These are all important stories, and at the end of 2017 the fate of Alabama states many things about the destiny of the whole United States.

When reading about Alabama it is amazing that everything about the state is contaminated by enslavement of African Americans and deprivation of rights.
