Air Traffic Controllers: Safety in the Skies

As air traffic controllers view aircraft as small spots on the screen, they work in a semi-darkroom (professional cruise). If a person wishes to be an air traffic controller, they must be able to make prompt decisions and have to be confident in their choice (professional cruising). They must be constantly focused and have to be able to control extreme stress (Crystal Colbus). Air traffic controllers have to do an annual inspection to ensure that they do not cause disease due to the enormous pressure they are faced each day.

Air traffic controllers are primarily interested in safety, but we need to effectively guide aircraft to minimize delays. They are responsible for managing the flow of aircraft entering and leaving the airspace of the airport, guiding the pilot during takeoff and landing, and monitoring the aircraft as the aircraft passes through the sky. Air traffic controllers use radar, computer, or visual reference to monitor and direct empty aircraft movements and airport ground traffic. The tower controller indicates the movement of the vehicle (including the aircraft) on the runway and the navigation street. They check the flight plan, give permission from the pilot to takeoff or land, and direct aircraft movement and other traffic in the runway and other parts of the airport. Most of the work comes from the control tower and observes the traffic they control. The tower controller manages traffic from the airport up to 3 to 30 mile radius.

Air traffic controllers guide and monitor the aircraft, maintain safety, and inform the pilot of weather conditions and flight paths. Several air traffic controllers guide the aircraft through the airspace, while other air traffic controllers control arrival and departure. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employs most air traffic controllers and usually asks for completion at the FAA Academy. According to the US Labor Statistics Bureau (BLS), the average annual salary of air traffic controllers in May 2015 was $ 122,950. In the same year, the annual average salary of air traffic controllers adopted by the federal government was $ 122,310 (ww.bls.gov). The US Bureau of Labor Statistics stated in 2015 that the federal government hired 20,370 of 23,130 domestic air traffic controllers. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of air traffic controllers is expected to decline by 9% between 2014 and 2024, and employment competition is expected to be more intense.
