Training and Development The purpose of training is to teach employees new skills related to current work or to improve existing skills. Since training is one of the best motivations, companies can develop individual employees and the organization itself to plan for excellent training and development. Employees can broaden their knowledge and become more valuable in-house. Having well-trained employees is extremely beneficial to the company as employees can motivate them and focus more.

The purpose of the training and development program is to improve the capacity of the organization and employees. When an organization invests in improving employee skills and knowledge, investment leads to more efficient and effective employees. Successful training and development programs focus on employee performance or team performance. In an empirical study conducted by Watad & Ospina (1999), they confirmed the establishment and implementation of training and development.
