Surrogate Orange: Pesticide Agent Orange is a mixture of herbicides sprayed by Vietnamese US forces during the Vietnam War. Through many studies, scientists discovered that touching oranges causes cancer. Hamilton Jordan felt that he might have contacted Orange during his stay in Vietnam. I think that he suffers from cancer and that Orange may cause this cancer. Acting Orange is a chemical that is swept away in Vietnam in the late 1960s. Until the 1970s, use of Agent Orange finally stopped.

During the Vietnam War, the United States sprayed 20 million gallons of orange and other herbicides and destroyed 5 million acres of forest and Vietnamese farmland. Dioxins are toxic compounds of oranges that are associated with various diseases and birth defects. According to the Aspen Institute, in addition to the catastrophic impact on humans, the "reduction of millions of acres of forest and farmland" has resulted in "extensive degradation and non-productivity so far".
