The heritage of Africa will return to the school program. Shouted out! I thank the community for helping the children on the day of celebrating my family and school. I thank all partners including SURJ volunteers, DJIRS, and the AASD family. Jeff Pergolsk & Family, Anne Sieck & Family, Karen and Nick Iverson Riggers, and the main cry of Kathy Flores & Family. Our SURJ volunteers are allowed to arrange and clean up the whole family. African Heritage, Inc. Pay attention to sincere and true partnership between SURJ and AASD. Thank you very much. Thanks to all the families who participated, let us return our children to school supplies. Yes, we also started running, but AASD has retreated. AASD children who have not received the supplies do not have to worry about getting backpacks! AHI members and supporters - Lex Max, elected officials, members of the Board of Education, everyone, thank you!

At the heart of the heritage and health program in Africa is a 6-week cooking class called "African heritage taste" explained in the above video. A Taste of African Heritage led by volunteer instructors nationwide combines the history of nutrition and culture with simple and delicious cooking techniques to stimulate new ways of eating through "old ways". We are recruiting outstanding teachers everyday! If you are interested in teaching traditional African cuisine in your area, fill out the teacher registration form. If you would like to know more about how your organization is working with us to bring this collection to your community, please contact the project manager Johnisha Levi.

In order to plate the African traditional diet pyramid on our plate, we edited a set of 12 expression blocks with the help of African traditional cooking scholar Jessica Harris. These dishes are both the representation of pyramid's cuisine and the cultural expression of the four different regions of African heritage. The figure below shows from left to right, West and Central Africa (peanut soup of Africa), South America (rice and beans, salad of avocado), Caribbean (rice, beans, spinach, papaya) ยท John, collard, cone bread) Please see the entire expression section.
