In Afghanistan culture, marriage is different from American culture. When marrying you need to follow certain rules. In the marriage tradition of Afghanistan, girls under 10 can engage but can not marry. Marriage can only be held at the age of 16. Women in Afghanistan are not allowed to marry non-Muslim males. However, Muslim men can marry Christians and non-Muslim women who believe in Jews. The groom can become the first cousin. However, if parents are not interested in the first cousin and think they are not full enough, bride parents look for another groom that fits the groom.
