Advising and Career Development

Consulting and career development at Pennsylvania State University provides academic consultation, information and referral services to students who have undergraduate degrees (DUS), temporary (PROV) and degrees other than degrees. Our existence is to help students learn how to make the best choices among academic choices and career opportunities. Through collaboration with faculty and staff, counseling and career development provide a means for students to explore primary and career choices.

We are open to all students and graduates, but I am especially interested in providing guidance to students in transition, pending students, and students moving from one major to another. We support academic advice from teachers and promote students to become the independent learners and decision makers by utilizing this and all the resources of Pennsylvania state to promote the most positive academic experience I will help you. Students are ultimately responsible for academic and professional decisions and consultants and consultants must understand that they have certain responsibilities.

From the beginning of the first year student curriculum to graduation, counseling and career development will help students and graduates in solving career related issues. We work with teachers and employers to connect with professionals and provide students with the opportunity to prepare for internships, workplaces, graduate schools / vocational schools.
