Advent of Industrialization

The emergence of industrialization in the early 19th century had widespread impact on economic, political, social and demographic statistics. Transition from agricultural production / feudal production system to industrial capital system has caused many changes in the lives of Europeans. Some of these changes include gender issues, immigration, medicine, the rise of liberalism and socialist politics, and the rise of some famous political movements. One of the main influences of the industrial revolution was the impact on women's lives. Prior to the emergence of industrialization, women accepted traditional work such as manufacturing and repairing clothes. They are also involved in farm management and child rearing. However, with the progress of the industrial revolution, the traditional role of women began to change. For example, due to the agricultural revolution and the enclosure movement, many small farmers were obliged to leave the land. As a result, many people moved from rural areas to the downtown area, and they started to search for jobs at new factories and mines.

A few hundred years ago, most of Europe and America 's population lived a rural life. However, with the advent of the industrial revolution, people moved from farm to urban areas. They have the opportunity to come to the town to work, earn more money, and improve the quality of life. As more and more people move to urban areas, the United States gradually becomes urbanized. The urban area is a place of employment, it is expected to earn higher wages and improve living standards. But people also settled in the United States to avoid prosecution, to acquire freedom of religion, and to avoid hunger and war.
