Advantages of Simulation Based Eductation for Nursing

The practice of simulation is described as "activities that mimic the reality of the clinical environment designed to demonstrate procedures using interactive video such as role-playing and human models, decision making, and critical thought" (Connor, 2014). The purpose of this study was to investigate which nursing simulation succeeded and which failed. In this study, human patient simulation was mentioned as a possibility of nursing student education. In addition, they point out the importance of human simulation and explain it as a very valuable tool.

The use of simulation in undergraduate nursing programs is becoming increasingly popular and becoming the foundation of many nursing programs. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize a new simulation education strategy, virtual reality (VR) simulation that exploits the technical skills of new generation students. This small preliminary survey focused on using VR simulation to improve senior nursing student interpersonal skills. In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness of a VR simulation to improve student performance in a series of two VR scenarios using iterative measurement design. Evaluate students' grades using Emergency Medical Crisis Resource Management (EMCRM) tool. Overall, the total score of EMCRM improved, but it was not significant. The subscale communication area (95%) and occupational behavior (95%) showed a significant improvement between the exposures of the two scenarios.

One focus of research was to compare the results of virtual reality (VR) training with human model based simulations. In this study, subjects were assigned to human model-based simulation or VR simulation for emergency department team training. Results showed that the two groups showed significant improvement after completing the training. Simulation is an effective education and training method that educators and teachers can use to promote student learning. Particularly in health professionals, certain important skills are necessary for optimal and safe patient care. Therefore, to improve learner's skills, the ability to measure simulation, especially virtual simulation is very important.

The importance of high-quality evidence support and educational simulation in nursing education has not been clarified so far. The evidence base is expanding. There is evidence that successfully designed and executed simulations can enhance knowledge and skills. Research questions are currently focused on best practices and translational studies. Intermediate Jeffries simulation theory leads some researchers. The structure of the theory provides information for the development of this nursing education simulation research. In this article, "simulation" is not a simulation of psychomotor skills or objective structured clinical examinations (OSCE) education to teach health examinations, but instead of simulating the fidelity of a standardized patient or human model It refers to the use of high case simulation.
