Adolph Herrman Kohrs was later renamed Coors and was born in Germany in 1847. To help his family make money, Coors acted as a printer assistant when he was young. When he was fifteen, Coors apprenticeship at a German brewery. As an apprentice, he learned how to brew beer from the master brewer and how to operate a successful brewery.

When he was 21, Coors settled in the United States. He was hiding on a ship to Baltimore, Maryland. When he arrived, he was out of money and he could not speak English. He decided to go west to find new opportunities.

In 1872, Coors came to Denver, Colorado. He is a gardener and a bottle manager every Saturday. Coors wanted to open their own brewery, worked hard, saved money. His efforts were rewarded in 1873. Coors and Jacob Schuler are doing business. They bought an old tanning factory and opened Golden Brewery. Coors took over the company 's boss in 1880 and named it Coors Golden Brewery. He dreams of brewing "perfect beer" and has been widely successful with his brewed golden beer.

Coors married Louisa Weber in 1879, and they have six children. In the late nineteenth century, Coors built a house based on the brewery.
