"Even if something goes wrong with your life, real depression will not make you feel sad, true depression can be sad when all of your life is normal." (Kevin Brill). For 19-year-old Kevin Brill, this is his life. Kevin is living a double life. The world saw a popular, enthusiastic star basketball player, he kept laughing, and he saw the truth; he was tortured by intense pain, and this pain is growing fast. More than 122 million people worldwide are suffering from depression (Carol). Depression in adolescence is becoming an increasingly serious problem in today's society and in many cases is a major cause of many adolescent problems.
Adolescence is the period of human growth that occurs from childhood to adulthood. Adolescence begins around 10 years old and ends at about 21 years old. Puberty can be divided into three stages. Early adolescence, middle puberty, late puberty. Each stage has its own unique features. Each step is described in detail below. Early adolescence is the first stage occurring between 10 and 14 years old. Adolescence usually begins at this stage. Like Henry, people at this stage know their rapidly changing bodies and begin to worry about their appearance. They are shy, they blush their face, humble themselves and may be interested in privacy.
Puberty from adolescence to adolescence can be broadly divided into three stages. Early adolescence, usually 11 to 14 years old, middle term adolescents, 15 to 17 years old, late puberty, 18 to 21 years old. In addition to physical development, there were seven important intellectual and psychological and social development tasks that have been pressured over the years. The basic purpose of these tasks is to form their own identity and prepare for adults. By the end of puberty, many young people are grateful for the subtleness of various situations and ideas and are beginning to project them to the future. Their ability to solve complex problems and perceive other people's thinking has greatly improved. But as they are still relatively inexperienced, they rarely apply these newly discovered skills even on older teenagers, so they may act without thinking.
