If you are using a previous version of Adobe Acrobat Reader / Professional, you can not open a secure PDF file. Before accessing these secure PDF files, please make sure you are using Adobe Acrobat Reader / Professional X or higher.

A PDF file is a cross-platform file that can be opened on any computer on which Adobe® Acrobat Reader® is installed. Depending on browser settings, the file is downloaded to the hard drive or opened by clicking it directly. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free. ** NOTE: Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read this file. Acrobat Reader was installed on all machines of Jepson Hall. If you do not have a copy at home, the latest version of Acrobat Reader will be included on the CD distributed to all students from the information service department. You can also download Reader from Adobe.

PDFAloud is an audio output program for Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) files designed for blind or low vision people or those with learning disabilities. This Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader plug-in adds the PDFAloud toolbar to the Acrobat toolbar option and activates the sound in the PDF file with various buttons. Users can select one word at a time or read the selected text area aloud. The click-and-talk tool allows two-color highlighting to read back text
