Admissions Essay: I Wish to Study Medicine

Admission thesis: I want to study medicine, but I decided to go to medicine as a climax of experiences and self-discoveries rather than always becoming a doctor like a person going to medical school. When I was fifteen, I suffered from a mysterious illness. After many years of pain and doctor's consultation, I was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus. Diagnosis of lupus is the beginning of the way to change my life in almost every aspect and lead me to medicine.

During high school, essays contests were held at schools and provinces. Therefore, when I did not take medication as I wanted, my family was prepared a bit, so I did not want to study in the end. Engineering When we were studying undergraduates at the University of Nigeria, I was an editor of a school newspaper that was created / funded by me and five other friends. Later I had the opportunity to report the riots at school so I was able to announce that to the guardian of Nigeria - and of course the authorities' problems as well. Since everyone knows it all, it is easy to move long before any prize. I am praying for obtaining my certificate and working at an oil company, but my career choice has not received any pressure.

In the fall of 2014, a total of 8,762 students applied for a graduate school entrance to the whole university. Of these, 43.2% were accepted. Wertheim Medical University acknowledged 6% applicant and law school acknowledged 19%. Wertheim School of Medicine is very competitive, universities are the most volunteers in the state than the University of Florida. In the autumn of 2010, a total of 3,606 students applied for 43 degrees. FIU School of Architecture is the most competitive school in Florida and the lowest enrollment rate in the state is 14% (2011). In the fall of 2009, the Faculty of Architecture received more than 1,000 applications to the master's course in architecture, of which 60 were approved and the enrollment rate of the Faculty of Architecture was 6%. The new high school GPA of the Faculty of Architecture is 98, one of the most selective schools in FIU.
