People claim that drug poisoning is a disease or an option. Today, I will discuss this discussion and would like to better understand why this topic is so controversial. In my research, I can easily find information on this topic, but I still do not know if an answer was found.

The biggest argument is that dependence is a choice, not a disease. On the other side of the discussion, they insist on the opposition. For the purposes of this article, I must agree that drug addiction is an option. People are getting high and they want to drink, so it is addictive if you do not pay attention. The research I found about this particular topic seems to have received the most support and facts to refute the idea that addiction is sick. If there is sufficient evidence to support the idea that poisoning is sick, I think this is not a controversial topic.
