British philosopher and economist Adam Smith was born in Kilkadi, Scotland. He received education at Glasgow and Oxford. In 1751 he became a professor in Glasgow. So he wrote "moral feelings theory" in 1759. This philosophical work was appointed by Smith in 1764 and became a mentor of the young Duke Buccleuch.
