The educational success of ADA and ADM mainly depends on the attendance of our school system. Schools need to have as many students as possible while maintaining a high attendance rate in order to create an effective learning environment and obtain adequate funding to produce high performance results. Attendance reports Most school districts are receiving state assistance based on the average number of members per day (ADM), the average number of participants per day (ADA), or similar student count calculation method. ADM and ADA data is usually determined at each school's location and then reported to the central attendance unit. The agency will prepare a report on state aid, and in many cases will prepare a report on federal aid such as shock aid. An inappropriate attendance report may result in too many or too few aid being assigned. Student Activity Funding Most school districts have cash or bank accounts at each school under the control of the principal or club counselor. These funds may be excluded from regular regional accounting controls. Given the fragmentation of these funds and the financial records and reports of non-accounting staff, these funds present their own control tasks to the school district.
