Achieving a Goal in Through the Tunnel, Two Kinds, and The Censors

In this article I will tell you three short stories. These stories are as follows. "Through the tunnel", "two" and "review agency". The main characters are as follows. "Reviewer" of Jerry, "Through the Tunnel", "Two People", "Juan". In all three stories, the main character is trying to achieve a specific goal. Jerry tried to swim through the underwater tunnel. Jing - Mei wants to rebel against her mother. My mother wants to make her a genius for children. Juan tried to find the letter he sent to his friend before the "examiner".

Jerry can always swim with her mother, but she chooses not to go. Even though he could not be sure if he could accomplish the goal of swimming through the tunnel he decided to trust himself. If there is something, Jerry ignores mothers' safety measures so that people begin to mature. There is a sense of conflict in the story. Jerry conflicts with himself. He knew that the tunnel was an obstacle, but he also knew he still had to find the tunnel and have to swim through it. This internal confrontation within Jerry also reflects the conflict between man and nature. Jerry has to learn how to hold his breath for 2 minutes to pass the tunnel successfully. It's as if Jerry accepted herself as well as he is fighting nature. It was also interesting that Jerry thought that Jerry was so embarrassed when he told her mother that he could be in the water for 2 minutes. Jerry accepts what I can do.

I felt uneasy about his decision, Jerry grasped the stone, stopped breathing, and jumped into the tunnel. He pushed his body into the opening and slowly passed through.
