In an article titled "Academic Wear" by Stanley Fish, he presents a historical perspective on the subject of academic freedom at the university. These freedoms are very important topics in our educational system. Whatever the content or previous ideas, this article states his position that it is free. In other words, the importance of learning is how you think about the importance of your idea. I am convinced that education especially at university level should focus not only on teaching subjects of interest but also on teaching interesting ideas.
"Student freedom is a tradition of teacher freedom and is part of academic freedom in a broader sense." Ralph E. Fuchs, "Academic freedom - its basic ideals, functions and history", AAUP, academic Freedom and terminology: Handbook American University Professor Association (edited by Louis Joughin, ed. 1969), 242, 243 - 44 (Appendix E). Students and researchers in Western academic culture In the United States, academic freedom has various implications as a fundamental principle of higher education system and law (Cope, 2007). Specifically, the principles of academic freedom play a role as a teacher's right to the lifetime in research and research, classroom lessons and institutionalization, and student academic freedom is defined as academic freedom (James D. Jorgensen et al., 2008, p. 5). The academic principle of responsibility is another central element of western academic culture. Max Weber insists on responsibility ethics as a substitute for morality based on personal intent. (Charles H. Reynolds, 1990, p. 32) From the Weber's perspective, strong scholars should engage in moral reasoning to measure and estimate likely outcomes of public policy decisions.
