Abraham's Obedience: A Biblical Epic

It may not be discovered automatically by many readers today, but a normal literary genre appears in several stories of the Bible: an epic. Epic is usually a literary form related to works such as "Odyssey", but its unique artistic style can also be easily found in God's Word. Faithful obedience to God when Abraham was asked to sacrifice the only son is an example found in Genesis. It contains several epic elements that Homer's audience can easily identify.

Abraham's life also showed us simple obedient blessings. When asked to leave his family, Abraham left. When asked to sacrifice Isaac, Abraham did this "to get up the next morning." From our biblical story, Abraham's obedience will not hesitate. Like most of us, Abraham may be suffering from these decisions, but he acted when he acted. We must act when we see the true call from God or when we read God's instructions in the word of God. When God orders something, obedience is not arbitrary

The story of Abraham is to obey the will of God. It is not blind obedience. In the biblical story, Abraham often challenges God and makes questions. But eventually, he believes in this special god who made such a special promise and, by doing so, it forms a very special and personal relationship with God, and believers claim that this relationship will continue until today I guess. Abraham is an exceptional person, unifying Christianity, Judaism, and three great monotheisms of Islam. He is in everyone - he is important to everyone. In Christian Mass, Abraham is specifically mentioned; when Muslims pray five times a day they refer to Abraham; when the Jews recall the tora, especially the covenant with the Lord, they call the Lord It will be made to the chosen one, this was done by Abraham.
