Upward Bound is a university admission and preparation program funded by the US Department of Education and funded by North Dakota State University. This is to help students succeed in high school and to prepare for the continued success of the university. Upward boundaries provide students with academic, cultural and social activities to cultivate skills, motivation and confidence. Services and activities include preparing applications such as counseling, academic development, academic counseling, career exploration, ACT preparation, university visits, university admissions, FAFSA, scholarships and other applications.
The NDSU's Upward Limit Program is funded by the targeted high school and covers 52 qualified students from 9th grade to 12th grade. These schools include Moorhead, Davis, Fargo North and Fargo South.

About Upward Bound Upward Bound is a program throughout the year, including a nine-year academic year and a six-week summer college. Elements of the academic year include academic counseling, academic guidance on Saturday, weekly individual instruction, college visit, cultural and social experience, post secondary education support. At summer college, upward participants live on campus while participating in the university simulation course, and experience university life. Upward Bound Upward Bound Mathematics, Science, Classic is a university preparation course designed to strengthen and improve critical thinking, science and analysis capabilities of high school students. Through academic programs, research teams, field trips and entertainment, these courses will improve the background necessary for students to succeed entry skills, motivation and college. UP / UP Mathematics - Prepare them to become the first person in the family to the university, so that the science curriculum and the students work from the end of junior high school second grade until they graduate from high school.
