About our Patroness, St. Rita of Cascia

Santa Rita was born in 1381, a small village Roccaporena near Cassia in Umbria, Italy. She is the only child of Antonio and Amatolotti who knows that she is a special gift from God. From her early age Rita shows extraordinary piousness and love for prayer.
