Aaron Copeland

Aaron Copland was born in New York City on November 14, 1900. His composition includes ballet and orchestra, choral music and film music. For most of the 40 years, Aaron Copland was considered the best composer of American music in the 20th century. Copeland learned to play the piano from my older sister. When he was fifteen, he decided to become a composer. His first composing step included a communication course. In 1921, Copland visited Paris to attend the newly established American Music School in Fontainebleau.
