A Wondering Ideal in "Walden"

Henry David Thoreau wrote a two-year "independence" experiment at Walden Pond near Concord, Massachusetts. Thoreau thinks he is better than an ordinary man and thinks he is better than a man who reads his work. The implications and ideals expressed in this work bring a background of self-satisfaction and "better". The purpose of this experiment is to develop independence and simple philosophy and ideals. His view on simplicity runs through a mixture of hints, metaphors and real thoughts that can not be explained at first glance, and extends throughout the work.

In a Behavioral Analyst (1985) article that Walden Two published for nearly 40 years, Skinner tried to clarify the ideal human environment explanation using Fraser's nephew. In an ideal human society, "People naturally do what they need to maintain themselves and handle each other well, they do not need to do this" (page 9) . But, of course, doing 100 things that human beings want to do is not a characteristic of their cultural practices and their institutions, they only mean an ambiguous definition of Walden II.

The incompleteness of Skinner's ideal human society and depiction of life is widely recognized and may wonder whether actual experiments in Walden's life can provide useful details for his blueprint not. Several social experiments like this are done. Perhaps the most interesting is the Twin Oaks community in the state of Virginia in America (although the community developed from the roots of Skinnerian). Walden Two, published by B. F. Skinner published by Macmillan in 1948, is a derivative of Walden by Henry David Thoreau. It is an extension of the creation of utopian society. Society is the creation of T.E. Fraser worked under his guidance.
