A Whistleblower’s Dilemma

Martin Buber's theory was a moral theory that I was very interesting and had a great influence on my daily lives. I chose to talk about this theory. After years of medical practice, I began to feel that I treated patients as subjects. Doctors and patients may be constrained by the nature of planned and deliberate interactions. Buber studied how people relate to each other and act in a moral or unethical manner.

Ethical methods can be used to study deeper questions and report theory, and why people choose to do so. Reporting is the theme of ongoing moral debate. The main argument that attracts attention in ideological camps is ethics, which is a form of civil disobedience designed to protect the public from government torts. In opposition parties, especially in industries dealing with confidential customers and patient information, some people think that the report is an unethical act that violates confidentiality regulations. Although you can give legal protection to protect whistle blowers, this protection is subject to many regulations. Hundreds of laws protect internal whistleblowers, but they may easily hide such protections and make internal whistle vulnerable to retaliation and legal disputes. However, with recent advances in technology and communication, decisions and actions are becoming more complex.

Reporters are protected from retaliation by law, but the laws of the United States vary from industry to industry. For example, with a few exceptions, whistleblowers working in the federal government are protected by the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act (WPEA). Reporters working for companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange were protected by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. The Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) protects certain employees in the food industry. Dodd - Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act protects whistleblowers in the financial industry

In 1989, Congress passed the whistleblower protection law to protect federal officials from workplace retaliation when cheating was revealed. In 2002, SOX (Sarbanes - Oxley Act) introduced guidance on reporting to listed companies and strongly protected whistling employees. Input ombudsman: Independent representative who gives advice to employees (or students, citizens etc.) and can directly report to the CEO outside the company management level or the board of directors. This approach provides guidance and confidentiality to employees and provides early warning and practical advice to the company.
