A View from Mars, A Theme Analysis

In the story "I came from Mars", Lee K. Abbott wrote a story about the relationship between my father and my son. In this story, the father noticed that he was not perfect and tried to conceal his mistake to his son. Though subtle, Lee K. Abott knows that he can not believe what he is seeing through his role. By using ideas, characterizations, and themes, the author stimulates the reader, makes the reader feel compassion and succeeds in making the story trustworthy. The story is written from the father's point of view as the first person stories.

The foundation of the phenomenological analysis is to construct a series of subtopics and topics by analyzing each of the eight interviews. Five major topics have been identified. After that, the researcher must carry out and describe a detailed analysis to judge the story of each topic and its influence. By the end of this phase, researchers can (1) define what is included in the current topic and (2) explain each topic with several sentences.

People, especially scientists, have many reasons to explore Mars. In addition to natural curiosity, there is another theme to move Mars exploration. Discovering the evolution of the planet on Mars is a theme that may be useful for understanding the evolution of the earth (Bender 3). In addition, the future theme will be the colonization of Mars, so far it is just a far apart idea. This scientific theme symbolizes the transformation of Mars exploration. This reflects the long-term discovery process on the red planet based on a strategy to understand the possibility of Mars as a past or present microbial habitat. Finding this answer means to dig down the history of the earth's geology and climate to understand how and when Mars changed Mars. Mars is more similar to the Earth, about 3.8 to 350 million years ago. Evidence from the mission of Mars is suggesting that Mars may be much warmer and moist than we have observed today. In this ancient timeframe, scientists have discovered the first evidence of the life of microorganisms on the earth. In the past, did Mars provide a similar living environment?
