Today 's world is filled with so many cultures. Unlike others, each has its own custom and "social norm". American culture is very different from Afghan culture. This fact is evident in Haled Hosseini's "Golden Sun". The book tells the story of two young women who live in Afghanistan's harsh world until their way crosses and they unite against the widely accepted women in their country. In this book women's lives are totally in contrast to American women's lives.
