A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki

The book I like the most in this year is Ruth Ozeki's "Time Story". The story switched back and forth among Nao's diaries, Nao was determined to record the story of her grandmother Jiko's life, a suicide girl, Nao's diary was looted by Japan in 2011 I found out. Coast by tsunami. After reading the diary of several pages, Ruth was fascinated by it and decided to understand the life of Nao. The book covers many topics including Zen Buddhism, natural disasters, Kamikaze pilot, suicide, bullying, quantum mechanics and time.
