This is a study of action impulses. Instructors in this study tried to perform a comparative analysis of groups of subjects using various measurement methods. This is because most previous studies rely on a single measurement, making it difficult to compare between measurements. Self-reported questionnaires, biological and behavioral tests, etc. are not included in past studies. The purpose of this study was to include all impulsive measurements.
A sample of 491 participants was recruited from the community near two Midwestern universities to study the impulsive behavior of young people. The PSB was evaluated using the Minnesota Impulse Disorder Interview (MIDI) (Odlaug and Grant, 2010) and is a standard defined as answering "yes" to any of the four major diagnostic questions of the compulsive behavior module Diagnostic interview, basic demographic information, self-reported impulsive checklist, and computerized cognitive battery. Psychiatric comorbidity was assessed by trained examiners using the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Inventory (MINI) (Sheehan et al., 1998). All research procedures are done according to the Helsinki Declaration. The Institutional Review Board of the University of Minnesota and the University of Chicago approved the procedure and the accompanying agreement.
Problematic sexual behavior between young people: association between clinical, behavioral, and neurocognitive variables
Impulsive control The term disorder is a type of mental health problem that involves various impulsive behaviors. For example, habitual behavior such as morbid gambling can be regarded as impulsive control disturbance. Conscious self-injurious behavior can be regarded as impulsive behavior and suicidal self-injurious behavior is considered as impulsive control disturbance. People with this impulsive control disorder will ignite intentionally regardless of possible damage or injury due to their behavior. Personality disorders such as antisocial and marginal personality disorders are common for many convicted arsonists with serious impulsive impulsive impairment.
