A Spring MA’s Mid Semester Reflection

Sam Taylor reads his poem in a group called "Imperial Poetics" on Friday 10 February, focusing on how poetry expresses the influence of American hegemony, and experiencing the race through a mutant lens. Class and Gender On Saturday, February 11, Albert Goldbarth will appear in "Minimalism, Minimalism, Memoirs" to explore the relationship between nonfiction, memoirs and other literary genres. He reads a recent essay collection "The Adventures of Form and Content".

AWP is not just our host - the Wikita literary magazine Mikrokosmos will also have a table at this famous book fair. Editor-in-chief Nicole Byrne is scheduled to join with non-fiction editor Katie Amundsen and Web editor Jesse Allen. Other participants include Executive Assistant Brian Evans and graduate students Cole Ethington, Toni Loeffler, Shannon Nakai and Mariah Perkins.

This week, Mythili Menon will hold an invitation symposium at Kansas University in Lawrence. At 4 pm on Thursday February 4, her speech entitled "Structural Startup Beyond the Field" was held.

Next week, Danielle Koupf will give a speech titled "Restoring a resume: Creating creativity in a creative workplace classroom". The lecture will be held at LH 113 at 3 pm on Wednesday, February 15.
