A Sociological Aspect of Gang Activity

Gangs can be categorized as a group of young people thought to pose a threat to society and are recognized primarily by their name and regional authority and are involved in many violations of the North American Criminal Procedure Code I will. (Esbensen, Winfree, He and Taylor, 2001). The first topic that appeared in the collected literature was the lack of opportunity. As I said, I began participating in gang when I was young. That is to prevent gang activities. The activity of the gang is certainly not a new phenomenon, but since it was ancient (Roman, Greek, medieval etc.) it has been part of the history of mankind. Most sociological theories tie gang's behavior with young violence, but there are several ways that people can track gang violence in an organized way.

The purpose of this research was to identify sociological aspects and means that individuals can use to participate in gangs and their practices. The following study uses statistics and information provided by the police and the Ministry of Justice. I look for reasons why individuals decide to participate in the gang from a sociological point of view. It first defines gang and it leads to youth's lifestyle and choice to participate in these gangs. The sociological approach has been developed to match the decisions of these people and to understand their judgment. With this information and research in mind, we can guide future research on aspects and decisions of social citizenship, and these aspects and decisions influence their participation and become part of the street gang I guess.

The definition of the gang that I propose is only the two participants, as well as the definition of the gang used by the City of Los Angeles and the county police. I proposed this for two reasons. One concerns the sociological definition of one group and the other concerns the current definition of regulation for police and prosecutors. Likewise, sociologists, regardless of their size, distinguish between primary and secondary groups. The team features frequent interactions and face-to-face interactions among members. Their members often influence each other's behavior and attitude. In some cases, you can define a gang as a measure group. On the other hand, the term "secondary group" means a formal, inhuman group whose social intimacy and mutual understanding are rare (Thio, 1998, p. 145).
