Psychosocial solution to ethnic prejudice at school The school provides a safe learning and growth environment for all students and gives everyone equal opportunities. Educators should focus on their academic performance, self-esteem, satisfaction with school, and successful association with peers (Walker & Crogan, 1998). Negative self-esteem may affect school record. Increased affection for fellows leads to accepting fellows and is a prerequisite for positive development of self esteem (Aronson and Osherow, 1980).
