If you are convinced that the community is dangerous, you usually do not call it "rough". Instead, we call it "bad neighbors" or "rough neighbors."

According to the criteria of most urban residents beyond the mountains, I would like to move to a "rough" neighborhood. I like walking distance to university campus, medical school, small university campus, library, theater, shopping mall, cultural center, park etc. On the other hand, downhill offers residents an opportunity for trees and sidewalks as an additional bonus. On the other hand, this neighborhood is paradise of drug trafficking, and a lot of noisy university parties are held at the Scranton University (surprisingly large party school in Jesuit organization). It is very annoying. I am not interested in living in a boring "following Jones" place like my current suburbs, Abington, Gran Mara etc.
