A Short Story : The Greedy Dog

There was a dog. He is very greedy. He had to pay for his own desire again and again. Every time a dog promises himself, "I learned a lesson, now I will never get greedy again" but he quickly forgot his promise and was as greedy as usual .

One afternoon the dog was very hungry. He decided to look for something to eat. There is a bridge just outside his house. "I look for food on the other side of the bridge, he definitely has better food there," he thought.

He crossed the wooden bridge and began looking for food. Suddenly he found a distant bone. "Oh, I am very lucky, it looks tasty," he said.

A hungry dog ​​was trying to pick up the bone without wasting it anytime. "Because someone may be seeing this bone, we will have to share it, the family ate it," he took home with a bone in his mouth.

While crossing the tree bridge, the dog looked down at the river. There he saw the reflection of him. A foolish dog mistook it for another dog. "There is another dog in the water with bones in his mouth," he thought. Greed, like him, he said, "How good is to grasp that bone, and I will have two bones."

So a greedy dog ​​saw his reflection and made a roar. Reflection also roared. This makes the dog angry. He overlooked his reflections and raised the groaning saying "Woo! Wu!" When he opened his mouth, the bone in his mouth fell into the river. Only when the water splashed, a greedy dog ​​realized that she saw only her own reflections, not other dogs. But it's too late.
